So I decided I’m going to date outside of my race this time.

Seriously, though. I’m ready to try something new. Unexplored territory. Why not, right? Nothing wrong with trying something new.

New ideals, philosophies…outlooks, thought processes. EXPERIENCES!

And I don’t want a guy that acts black, either. I want a straight, true to his culture male. I would actually even date Hispanic….cause Lawd knows Red shoulda been mine. TUH! That little Rican…never mind.

There was this guy at the Hawks/Celtics game tonite that looked like he could have been a prime candidate. The only problem with living in Atlanta is…you NEVER know who’s what…if you know what I mean. He had a Braves hat on…backwards. YES! He had on a niiiiiiice pea coat. CHECK. His shoes were ehhhh, but that’s OK (that type of thing is expected) His pants had just that little bit of sag in them that I like. WHOOO! He was with his homie, I’m guessing, but I lost all nerve. Eff the fact that he could have had a girl…I thought about that…I could chance that. But the main question: Do you date outside of your race? How would he have reacted to a black woman approaching him? Even if he didn’t have a girl?

I wonder what that rejection would have sounded like: Uhhhh, you’re not my type.

That would be the most politically correct way to say it. I feel like I deal with rejection pretty ok, but THAT is a whole new level.

Of course I did some Google research, just to see what the web had to offer as far as dating websites. Besides eHarmony…I don’t trust em. They look off-brand and oh so cheap. I wouldn’t even WANT to find anyone of those sites.

I’m anxious, though, for this new preference….let’s see what turns up…
